History of Triple SSS’s Website Flag
—a Website Fixture Since 2002

Like many people in our great country, I was affected deeply by the events of 9/11/01 and knew many people more tragically and personally affected than I. Like many of those same people, I took stock in my life and my priorities. It was time to pursue a dream I’d put off for several years: Starting a business. There was no time like the present and the notion of being more available to my husband and three daughters was also exciting. A plan was formulated and in 2002, Triple SSS was born.

Driving home from work on 9/11, I called my husband, who was already home, and asked, “Would you please hurry and hang our American flag? It just feels like the right thing to do for all of these innocent people.” Little did I know millions of people were doing the same thing in a statement of honor and unity. Well, that flag has been up everyday since 9/11 and it will stay up the remainder of my life. There is no reason to take it down, and we want to honor those whose lives were lost that day. We want our children to understand as well.

It has been part of Triple SSS’s web identity since we opened our doors and always will remain so in honor of our country and those lost to us in the war on terror on and since 9/11/01.
